This bus replaces 2-12AWG cross connection copper wires to form the original bus bar concept. This bus bar equals 6.5 of those wires instead of just 2. That 6.5 factor is after taking into account the slight conductivity drop from using aluminum instead of copper. Copper is very expensive...
