Just in the process of getting this little amp. It is very similar to the 970 MkII I had many years ago. Dynamic punch is what Rotel does very well and was the first amp to introduce me to this type of sound, being high current.

I have an A7ES deck, but it needed to be heavily modified to sound as good as some older Sony decks. Someone said the TC-K555ESJ may be their best deck from the 90s soundwise, but does anyone really know? Both the A7ES and 555ESJ have Dolby S, so this is why I wonder. The 909ES is the 222 deck...

Ive had a pair of their 702 headphones for some years now. Basically the same as the 701, but in black. Love mine. Use them everytime I record on tape. I also have a pair of 240 MkII cans which are for backup. Enjoy those 701s Stu!

You're in the same boat as me Nando. If you can wait, the 205 is the audiophile player version. I most likely will be getting that one for my system. It will be expensive, especially with the US exchange rate and duty taxes.

I've been watching it for a while now. I sold my Sony SACD player in anticipation of the new Oppo 4K players. I'm not sure if I'll be going with the 203 or 205. That said because of finances- it will be a while before I buy the new player. The 205 is said to be coming out in the next few months...

Well I've had the Linn back home since early this week. Everything that had issues on it has been fixed. No bouncing transport issues, no tracking problems, and no arm skating across the surface. Stereo shop installed the Jelco arm for me and it looks good on the table. He will install my Dynavector cart onto it soon. I should have the Linn back home sometime next month when the base shows up.

Yes it was the store, since he's seen Jelco's on LP12s before. And its a 9inch arm, and doesn't weigh alot, which is what I need.

Since Im keeping my Linn LP 12 turntable instead of replacing it outright, I need to replace the arm on it. My two choices through the store I go to is the Jelco 750 arm or the Rega RB303 arm. The Jelco is a good match for the Linn, but is the Rega? Which of these two arms is a better performer...
