My bad. They dip to 3.2 ohms.

I use a set of AR-9's as my main speakers and a set of ADS-810's also. No replacements available so I get concerned about damaging the drivers. The AR-9's dip very low in the impedance and are very hard to find good amps that can drive them 'properly'. I have owned PL-400's and like them but...

What does tour table sit on ? I have issues with my Debut also. I'm thinking about trying a sand box style isolation stand. Dennis

Thats a great looking 5580 you got a hold of there. Pioneer got the look perfect on that series. Someday I will find another one.

Welcome aboard. You have a Great system to get you started. Those AR 10 Pi's are some good sounding speakers. I owned a pair and can say they were the best sounding speakers I've had till the AR 9's came along. Rebuild them and enjoy them . Dennis

That Sansui was king of the hill. I have only seen pictures of it,never seen one up close. That amp section looks like it could do some serious damage to speakers,and hearing.

Those 1980's were the top of the heap . I have never run across one yet but I still would like to have one. Just something about the way the Pioneers sound.
