I know my schematic looks like a fuse but I plan to use a protection bulb when I drew it up I was toying with fuse or bulb but think I will go with a bulb, also as Nick pointed out there is a 3rd terminal on the Lpad that will go to ground...

THD+N thanks for that sounds interesting I am thinking if I build new cabs down the road I am thinking of the Altec 19 cab but keep horns separate.... I have the tools and know how to build a cab and might this summer.... Do you have blueprint for the scala cab? I'd like to see it.

Scored an Altec 808-8B driver today with a good original diaphragm in it for $119.... it's a start

Yep still have them laying in a tray but the leads are short not sure if you will be able grab onto them as I cut the leads to make it easier to remove them, you might be able to solder some lead wire on them... pm me your address and I will send them to you
