    I just hooked my Analog Discovery 2 w software to a old dell laptop and 3rd party software "Audio Analyzer Suite" it can do THD and all kinds of thing measurements and a lot of video on YouTube but I learning a lot, I think Lol

    Greg before power up , you might want to power up w a Dim Bulb Tester to make sure you don't damage anything.

    yes The power Transistors when bad will normally short out and blow fuses so your probaley good :) but it would not hurt to see what you have back their which will tell you if they mixed and match them .

    What kind of flux are you using? and solder? Thanks to Sniffer , I'm using the Kester 951 Liquid Soldering Flux No-Clean, which makes the solder flow better and flow a lot smother and your still look like it is to thick, it should look like a triangle shape I hope this helps.

    Good work, You got lucky it did not totally short out ;) I'm still one of the few that use the Micro Insulators and Heat sink grease (never use computer silver grease) I heard of the silicone Pads doing this, Even Gene had one short out when installing a new transistor & cut when installing)
