Harold Budd: Abandoned Cities

Ominous, deep, ambient drone. Just picked up a reissue of this earlier today. Great stuff if you're into this sort of thing and a really nice pressing job as well on the All Saints label.

I'm a die hard Niners fan but the Hawks kicked some serious ass. I actually thought this would be a close one but congrats to the Hawks and their fans!

Budd is probably most famous for his work with Brian Eno on a couple of the earlier Ambient series of albums. But he is also a pretty prolific artist himself, often seen as an avant garde classical artist of the minimalist school.
