Can you repeat that please? Do I have to do anything? Can I watch from afar? Can I sit here and smoke my different flavored tobaccos while I look for the right pipe. Never mind. Just let me stand in the corner and watch.

Fill that pipe up with something else and we can all join in and figure it out right lmfao
got to be in right mind to think and for me that calls for a pre think toke lmfao

It's like making a will, what happens when I'm gone...
I have been on that kick myself lately, I will be 50 May 1st and have already outlived both my parents. Sucks knowing that in 20 years give or take I will be gone. I have had quite a few relatives that lived into their 90s and the oldest was 104. My parents are the only ones out of the whole family that died that early so it does not bode well for me. Multiple Schlerosis complicated with diabetes took my Dad, Mom went with Uterine cancer

Go buy yourself a Harley for your 50th, I did, you think more about such things the older you get. A lot of my friends died around our age, lead a bit of a rough life. lol

If I make it to 60 I may buy another Harley!

I still like my stereo gear but to many years playing it to loud has taken its toll on the ears, so make your Harley loud so you can hear it going down the road!

Smoke it if you got it.

In my world Larrt people come first too. But this place has become a part of my life and I don't think I'm alone in that. I come here to relax, lip off and share experiences, and talk audio. Maybe Joe is right and this obsession with Hi-Fidelity will die with us, but what if it doesn't? Then we have laid the foundation for others.

There is nothing wrong with me that I know of other than the obvious, and have every expectation of toastin most of your's passing. Especially you Larrt. I'll write your eulogy.

I'd like to see better cooling options for the WOPL 400s figured out, namely the 4 finners

What is a Eulogy? More like a roast please. Put "What A Bastard" on my stone. That was the first time I remember my Mother threatening to tear my butt up for saying such a word. She had just caught a nice trout. Thought it was appropriate at the time. She didn't agree to that conclusion.

Lee, count me in. You guys have become like family to me, and it seems like a "SOUND INVESTMENT"...hahaha!
All kiddin' aside, it only makes sense to hang together and when we need to we can express our power in numbers.
Case in point, the PL-700 filter capacitor purchase. We'll get a bargain on those parts that we never could have by our lonesome selves.

Think you can outlast me there Lee? We'll see about that!

I gotta live long enough to receive my new lottery win of a WOPL 500 fully comp I know for sure.

If this thing dies with us it's still a good thing either way. Some amazing and old looking bullet proof amps will be legendary floating around after our estate sales.

No, it won't. The love of music turns into the love of music reproduced beautifully. When my twin daughters wanted a bluetooth crap speaker to listen to their ipods I took that opportunity to pass the torch. We built a Parts Express speaker kit together. I have pictures of them soldering their crossovers at 12 years old. A little chip amp and they have a fairly nice sounding stereo for their ipods and it cost me about $220. They will join me downstairs when I have my primary rig powered up and spinning vinyl.

Immerse kids in music continuously, expose them to great sound systems and build them a kit Phoenix 700B for their wedding present!
