One more reason to love this site, especially guys like Lee and Jerry. I just wish I had some knowledge to contribute.

P.S. How do I enter the contest?

How do you enter?

Where do you go to enter, or are you automatically entered?

As to the Watkns driver, I would simply call Watkins. I posted their phone number in another thread, but here it is again...(423) 246-3701. hey are really nice people and will gladly help you. They use to keep replacement drivers too..

Check the corresponding lottery number to the right of your user name which was randomly drawn yesterday. Example 889IXJ - 47

OK, a few things come to mind in this thread. First, as Meatloaf said. "Stop Right There" and I'll be happy to be the winner since you have used 8991XJ as the example, saying that if the drawn number was 47...let's "Make it so".

Next is this artificial attachment to the nice round numbers for the contest. I believe the WOPL 1000 should be the prize when the membership reaches the Clipping point (or 0.5% THD point) in one channel, both channels driven. That would give some serious significance to the Membership number. But I am not going to stand in the way no matter how it is done, this is just fun to be a part of and I enjoy the lead up discussions to the big drawing, no matter which one it is.

Maybe at 1000 members a WOPL 1000 can be in the works. By that time everyone here will have won a power amp in the contests. :-o

I am just waiting for Lee to ante up a Spec 2 and Spec 1, then I'll have to resign my post to be eligible. Can't leave just yet as the pay is so damned good. :rabbit:
