Thanks Jer. Got emm taped this time too. The metal outfit did such a good job keeping one side pristine that I decided to see if I could keep them that way cause it sure is pretty on the one side. I mean spotless, hard to do when just running your fingers accross it will scratch it.
Just returned from the shop making some WOPL bus bars. Fabricating a PS cap holdown at the moment. If I can talk the Jani out of her camera I'll post some pics. Easiest way to start a fight around here is to borrow something of hers, ESPECIALLY tools. Seems I have at times taken some to the oilfield and a percentage of those returned....unrecognizable....
I had conversed with the customer for the REALLY CRITICAL listening sessions that I could bypass the DC protect board. Notice the extra binding posts where the RCA jacks were?? He'll have to move the speaker wires to do it, but I see that as a minimum of trouble to accomplish that.....
Need to ask a favor, can you take a caliper to the round barrel on that thermal sensor and get me that dimension? Also that same dimension at the base where it is a little bit wider where it contacts the chassis.
I am provisioning the cutout needed in the PL700 backplane board and don't have an amp cracked open at this moment (and the bench is a mess).
Take your time Lee. I went from a spec sheet and the flange dimension just seems too big compared to the ones in your picture. Trying to make the hole as small as reasonable since it cuts into valuable trace.
Thanks Lee, it is critical that this sensor be able to be removed and installed when the back plane is in place. That is why I am fretting these dimensions.
