I have over 7 Terabytes at my disposal. When compressed to lossless flac format file size comes down to around 700 megs per album on average, depends on content of the wave form, some are as small as 350 megs. I like the highest resolution possible if I am going to use digital as a backup, prefer the real thing though (analog).

Wow guys, nice Disco stuff around. Nando, i do like Boney M and i enjoyed them a lot in the past . Not listening too much right now but i grew up with their music and it was great. Good idea for a great ''The Best Of'' compilation of them
Late 70's Disco mix? I bet I even have some live Bee Gees. I am overcommitted right now with recording other mix tapes, but I might entertain the idea.
Sep: yours is next as Derek's tape was mailed last week. Then to do: Miles and Nick D.

While not a fan myself, a Traveling disco tape could go over well...maybe.... some songs have decent length, and not having to compile 60 or 90 mins of pure disco. I personally could not properly fill a 60 minute tape without pulling from the same albums for a mix.
There are three of us committed to this project so far: Jerry, Graham in Australia, and myself. It would be great to see a few more members sign up to contribute a few tracks to the TT. I see plenty of good titles being displayed in this thread, so I know there is no shortage of hard-to-find and popular songs.

Great Nando, thanks and looking forward to your tape About some late 70's maybe very early 80's just found some GDB right here. Bee Gees is great and i don't have any on vinyl right now.
There are some song titles on it i'm sure you remember them

Yes, I do remember some of those songs, Sep. Where's my checkered bell-bottom rayon pants? The more I think about it, the more I would like to do a fun Travelling Tape featuring disco tunes of the 70's.
