Yes, I do remember some of those songs, Sep. Where's my checkered bell-bottom rayon pants? The more I think about it, the more I would like to do a fun Travelling Tape featuring disco tunes of the 70's.

Nando.
I think I could get in on a Disco TT Nando. I can even start it and send out the tape if someone else wants to manage it.

Ben: The Vinyl Only Traveling Tape will be starting soon. Five members are signed up, already. Interested?http://forums.phxaudiotape.com/showthread.php/3954-Vinyl-Only-TT-take-two!-(or-Jer-s-Redemption-)

Once it is done the Disco TT can be started. Thanks for offering to kick it off and I would be glad to manage the Disco TT.

Nando.
Hey Nando, I signed up in the appropriate thread for the vinyl TT. I dont see any need to wait until the vinyl TT is done maybe we can get the tape going the opposite direction if in fact many of the same members sign up for it. Now the question is.... which tape stock to use.

A nice track list you have there, Ben. I could do Classic Rock Mixes all day long. Shoot me a PM and we will announce something formal about a Disco TT this weekend on the forum. You could send one blank to begin with and I will add another if there's a need for more room for recording.

Fondler errrr... fan of all Nav's avatars
Rare lp w/ both Earth (eventually Black Sabbath) and Flying Hat Band (Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest's early heavy psyche 3 piece band's 1971 release). Using the ugly but effective Mitsubishi DP-96DA w/ Shure M55EM

Miles: Good close up of your new Philips in action. I have the double-album, too. Not music for the timid. I like the collage of pictures, too.

Just finished listening to one of nobody's mixes with playback being handled by my Nakamichi RX 202:

This tape is wonderful! Great song selections and very well recorded. I received my copy on a TDK D without NR being noted on the tape. Nice and clear with good bottom end in my system! Looking forward to tape #2 which is waiting in the Nak.

Nando, I may have to send this tape to you if you are unable to work out a trade with nobody- worth a listen. :bounce: Shame he hasn't come over to the Darkside yet.

Nick: Thanks for posting the pictures and your comments. I haven't approached nobody to do a tape exchange, yet, but once I get some free time following my current recording commitments, I will drop him a line. I do have plenty of new wave on vinyl, too.

Good looking RX-202!

Nando.
