I'm NOT listening to my SX-D7000 right now because I think something was either leaking in there or starting to burn...it was foul and I had the fan on it all night. It ran alright, but it stunk
The PLC590 pre-dates the Exclusive P3 series and it was made to fit in with the TOTL Series 20 equipment. The PLC590 has some features most are not aware of, like the sub chassis is a decoupled magnesium casting. This was Pioneer's best TOTL TT at the time. The later P series tables were regarded as the
best of the Pioneer TT's but most were only available to the Japanese market. You see these for sale at HI-Do and other sites and they are nearly always
100V units. Would love to own a P3
Thanks for the info, Graham. It's a beauty, but as I am finding out, perhaps, not one of Pioneer's TOTL turntables. Lee and Graham: Have you heard of Pioneer's Exclusive line? Take a look at this Pioneer Exclusive P3:
Thanks Graham. Tonight my oldest son was over and we watched and, of course, listened to Pink Floyd's "Live At Pompeii (Director's Cut)" in 5.1 surround sound.

Great set-mix Ben!
Good flow and selection of tunes. Listened front to back, straight through with cans. Channel balance is just a bit left of center but by no means bad and the high-end is a slightly subdued.
This tape isn't tracking as good as your first tape on my old 870ES but it's only really noticeable with cans. Peaks don't exceed 2 dB and average 0 dB. Super low noise floor and gobs of punch, as I would expect from the UX Pro.
Track 6 has convinced me to go out and pick up that 'Slash's Snakepit' CD post haste! Probably my favorite track on the entire tape. The faster Pussy Cat is the thinnest sounding cut. 'Sad Man's Tongue' really opens up nice
being a vinyl source and all..
All-in-all, a big thumbs up Ben
And again a really nice surprise showing up on the BD! BONUS!
thanks man..
