To see what contributors were to the THD & N , I ran a spectrum analysis ssweep. I posted the appropriate page from the AP Manual. What I don't know for sure is if I have turned off the fundamental frequency by shutting off the generator and does that shut down the whole generator. I can't seem to find that piece of info. From the sweep graph it appears I captured some data, but is it relevant??

Dunno. After reading explanation it would seem source of noise would be considered random, no specific source to explain it.

That was my conclusion Joe. Seems to be the major factor, with distortion playing a very minor role, 60 Hz hum and it's multiples...

try swapping the AP input/output channels and see if it follows that or not. Always rule out instrumentation first.
