What equipment are you using to do all this, sounds very interesting.?
I plug the turntable into a Korg MR1 via the phono stage to do the recording. The DSD file is then converted back to 16/44 using Weiss Saracon. I clean up the recodings using Stienburg wavelab.
Buring is done using an early version of Nero. The CD Burner is the Yamaha F1 using QR Audio Mode.

The Spoon CD I found was a 2010 release "Transference." The more I hear of your interests, Joe, the more I think we have quite similar taste in music.

Nando.

Defineatly could be. I've heard quite a bit off "transference" via Pandora at work. Actually, I made a Spoon "station" on it. What's cool about that is it mixes similar artists in so you get exposure to music you may not have otherwise heard before. Lately I've been listening to a lot of acoustic guitar. Kaki King is amazing to me. A channel made under her name streams a bunch of other artists which is awesome. Her "Everybody Loves You" album I would suggest sampling, and "...Until we felt red". Defineatly not generic stuff. She does a lot of unusual mixes, so there is plenty of things going on to get more then just mid/tweets moving. I listened to so much I don't know what song/album anymore but you can check all of them out online.

...A new Japanese style mini lp cover reissue. The reissue company is Culture Factory. Bought this and their first album at a very reasonable price on Amazon.
