That's a very nice recording. My first time seeing this album was in a vintage shop in a city we were visiting about six hours from home. I hummed and hawed about picking it up. The owner was charging $40 for it and he bartered down to $30, but I decided not to buy it. I found a copy here in Squamish, but the jacket is in rough condition compared to the one I first spotted. The vinyl, however, is perfect.

Rossington-Collins Band-"This Is The Way" 1981 MCA Records cassette (British version)

...I think I'm in the minority, but I like this album better than their 1st one. Good lyrics. One of a bunch of sealed cassettes that came last week. Nina's Discount Oldies is having a cassette cleareance sale. Most are $1.98 or .99. I've had this one on vinyl for years. I bought my vinyl copy for a 1.99 at National Record Mart in the mid 80's.

Damn! The above mentioned cassette just crapped out. The metal bracket holding the pressure pad just came loose. That's different....

Soloman Burke-"The Very Best Of..." 1998 Atlantic/Rhino Records cd
John Mayall w/Eric Clapton-"Bluesbreakers" 1966 Decca Records cd (2 disc Deluxe Edition)

Chris: I think if you are listening to pre-recorded cassettes, you may be in the minority. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has a few pre-recorded tapes in his collection. I unloaded a whole bunch of 80's tapes to my youngest son and my best friend last year. I still have a few hundred left.

I have a few Rossington-Collins Band on vinyl. A great band.
