Sorry for your need to blast this.
but again, just Sunday we discussed IM in a couple different settings. The audio gig, Sam was looking at my highly rated music I own on Discogs and I put on a bit of BP Empire. I'm gonna have to stream "Converting Vegetarians."

Got the 4-way active up and running.
Was it worth it? Oh yes.
Pulling those analog crossovers out of the JBL's and going full active with MiniDsp was the correct move.
The detail and clarity at very low volumes is greatly increased.
Crank it very loud and the amps just idle along hardly working. Have to be careful not to hurt my or the dogs hearing.
Anyhow, the goal is supurb sound at low volumes. This was a major step forward.
Need to do sub integration and room correction next.

Well,that didn't go as well as planned.
Listened to Iron Butterfly a lot in the past.
Pretty familiar with the long version on many different systems.
Picked up a set of Klipsch HG 3.5's this weekend to replace AR 9's I am selling.
These definitely will be getting the Crites replacement tweeter upgrade.
Just a bit too shrill for my taste.
Other than that a decent speaker.
