i have another amp ..and will end up with a quad amp system and a wopl pushing the voigts ....1080 will remain on tweeter duty...

5 amps total...all active crossovers...parametric equalizing...dsp...very clean sound..

got both speakers bondoed...first sanding...done until i cut speaker hole ..then skim coat...final sand!!!

started prepping 4 fin (with extra fins added) for the wo upgrade...cleared customs...should be here by end of the week...
stripped chassis....got board and backplane out in one piece ...cleaned everything up...removed rectifier...removed power cord....
i need to thank mr. george ....again..
dug into my care package and got the eid socket ...
got it filed in...wow...not a hair to spare ...but its done....added the second stand for control board...this was the 400c which has 3 mounting points...now it has the two needed for the wo control board...
tomorrow i have a mod to the dcp board in the existing wo upgraded amp...so i can see what to remove from the other dcp board for the zobel network....i think is just 2 caps 2 resistors...just want to make double sure since it will be open for the mod ..getting kinda excited!!!

got some led vu meters in today to experiment with....they seem to work just fine...i have it hooked to a preamp for testing...took a still shot....
will send movie tomorrow when hooked in the system for testing...there is a red line past the yellow line...it really looks nice....maybe a replacement for the bad meters...

Gene those meters might look really cool with either a custom faceplate or a Black PL 400 Faceplate.
They are intense but may make for a really neat looking WOPL'd amplifier.

ebay....about 35 each...
thats what im gonna do ..i already have the plate...will mount it this week...i think it will look cool on the white oak upgraded amp...a black face plate would be outstanding!!!
