Those Mach 1's have good reviews. I do have 2 Radio Shack Optimus power amps in the garage system. Like them just fine.
If you go to the White Oak Audio website, Joe does have some upgrades for the Realistic TM-1001 AM-FM Tuner.
 
Back in the 60's and 70's Radio Shack was the #1 seller of audio equipment. I had the Optimus 5's and Mach1's, can't remember the model of the amps, receivers and reel to reels I had

Not sure at all. The only thing for sure about the news report was that the guy was screaming “Ocho aletas”. “Ocho aletas” as he ran up the bank of the Rio Grande. I am not sure what that was all about…
