Trying to identify the old PL 400 /700 circuit board As pictured I have limited history experience regarding the dual boards used on the PL700 and 400 series 2. (( PL36 )). Curious of this boards history verses the PCB board layout I have made ? And if it’s a compatible layout ? 34256337-31E4-4A6D-8FB4-BFE2823FD9E9.jpeg 3EF922B7-9848-4294-8854-18E7C81EF24E.jpeg B6C322E0-82A6-4E04-AB59-8D6404475D5F.jpeg EEB13418-66E0-4B59-A0A1-AB46A902B493.jpeg

Why didn't you buy this board from me OFF ebay. Had I known it was you, I would have cut you a way better deal.

The board out of my Complementary 700 Pro was similar but slightly different with less components than the board out of my Quasi 400 S2. I'll look this coming weekend and post some photos for you Greg. I'm thinking the difference is important in regard to back wall configuration.

Greg, perhaps you can print a photo of each and compare the traces. May well be the same board, populated differently for the application. Strange there is no PL# on the 700 Pro board.
If you need any part# or value off the boards let me know. I usually have a little free time Sundays and Mondays.

Greg, are you trying to figure out the PL-36 you had made or are you looking at all the boards made for the 400/700??? I'm just curious as to what you wanted to accomplish

Oh hey guys I was wondering if they are basically same board I can see it’s populated different that the pl36 for a 700 series 2. I just was trying to learn how many different iterations there might be and the interchangeability I know is a tall question lol .

If you look in the service manuals for the 700B, 700 II, and the Pro 700, you'll see how many different boards there were

Just look in the service manual.
