From inside out.
B&W’ 604 S2’s powered by PL400 S2 (full build by Don).
Sitting on top of them are Infinity Modulus ( L&R surround, center is an Artisan LCR wired as a single speaker array).
Next are the Infinity Beta mid/upper towers then the bass towers, each powered by Rotel RB991’s.
Then the Phase Linear P-580’s, powered by the PL D500 ( built by Glen).
Those are sitting on Infinity Interlude 500 subs. ( part of the surround sound system)

What do ya think of the 580's?

The 580’s are excellent for 70’s rock & roll and amazingly they image pretty damn good considering they are 14 feet apart. Most point source speakers loose impact when placed that far apart. They have an excellent midrange driver that love electric guitar and with the D500 they can move furniture.
The Beta’s are the kings and play every type of music very well as you would expect from that level of speaker. The new Carver’s are fast becoming my second favorites but honestly I could live with any of them as my only speakers. I have owned the B&W’s for 24 years since new, they have always punched way above there weight.

Well the album arrived today, very well packed and nicely packaged with lots of extra goodies.
First listening impressions are stunning. Dynamics are really good and surface noise is nonexistent, dead quiet between notes.
