I'm working out a trade deal with the store owner, as I'm getting another turntable from him, so it's possible he will be selling it. I can let you know the price, later.

@ Shaun: There has been lots of silver-faced Pioneer gear come into IA, as of late. And it sells quickly. A second pairing of a Spec 2 power amp and Spec 1 preamp is available and the Pioneer SX-1980 receiver, with original factory packing carton, which was listed @ $11K a short time ago, just sold.

Recently Added – Innovative Audio (iavscanada.com)

It's getting pretty tempting for me to sell my own SX-1980.

They are all crazy, even the junkers.

I'd like a 980 (minimum) as they have real wood veneer, but I don't need much higher than that. My 880 is quite nice now, but if I can only have one, might as well get real wood.

I prefer the dark meters on the x80 series v. the x50 series personally.

Their all nice. but I like the way the SX-X50 Fm tuning knob spins, you can spin it fast.
The only thing I don't like is cleaning , every thing goes thought every SW and if its not clean you can get static and/or cracking noise.

I sold a few premiere vintage audio components back in 2014 to afford my Pioneer SX-1980. One of the pieces I sold was a beautiful Pioneer SX-1050 receiver. I never thought the prices, fetched for an SX-1980, would become this high. Glad I got mine when I did.

I have a Pioneer SG-9500. I bought one from Lee years ago and sold it, a couple of years ago, as I wasn't using it much in my system. There was/is a demand for this equalizer to complement the rest of the silver-faced Pioneer components. But, now I have another one which came in a bulk-buy ( I spoke of earlier in this thread). I haven't pulled it out of the packing carton, yet.

I also have the SX-1050 Its nice, The pioneer tape is one of the best w TDK and had amazing Recordings, touch to work on them, tape desk had a lot of belts which are hard to at (you need a system to keep track when taking them apart and time)
You might want to sell the SG-9500 the one I saw sold for over $500
I have some, I don't like the LT and RT channels setup, I liked the ones that had both ch lt and rt together which made it easier to adjust. Your finding really nice units.

Thanks, Steve. Sounds like you have lots of good gear, too. I had two Pioneer CT-F1250 decks at one time and sold one soon after I got my second one. The one I sold on consignment went to Japan - that's a bit of reversal as most of the Japanese market gets snapped up by N. American buyers.

My Pioneer CT-F1250 was my main recording deck for a number of years. I have lots of Pioneer cassettes, too. They're rebranded premium Fuji and Denons.

I'm undecided on selling the Pioneer SG-9500 equalizer.

Today, I spoke to Stan, the seller of the Phase Linear 700 Series Two amplifier and 3500 Series Two preamplifier. Both are tentaively sold to a buyer in Eastern Canada. But, the reason I called him was his other ad regarding his interest in wanting vintage audio gear for restoration. A few days ago, I began pulling all the gear from my old rec room into the garage, as I want to finish the rec room next year. I'm going to itemize what I have and send him the list. Any of my high-value components - I no longer want - I will hold onto, service, then sell.

Lee: There are three scopes. Got them from a technician, whose sales/repair shop closed when he retired.

No...but Glen did phone me while I was at The Turntable Shop, yesterday. He was inquiring whether I was selling a particular component.
