Thanks Joe. Yeah, I think I made a good choice just from one evenings worth of listening.
The staging is pretty awesome, I no longer need a sub woofer and I experienced that phenomenon lots of folks talk about - where they hear vast amounts of depth around vocals and instruments. The tweets are edgy but that is supposed to calm down with burn-in. I wouldn't call them harsh, just zippy with a tad more edge than I'm accustomed to. I need to dig up my Alison Krauss discs ... and tune into a few of the same tracks for the next month or so. That should tell a lot !
I did listen to some local live Jazz broadcasts on FM and I was blown away.
