Someday there will be an insurance ad about WOPL damage and they covered it.

Some times I get the urge to throttle up with some songs but my speakers always give me a little warning to knock it off. I already listen usually way to loud but man, that volume control just beckons you sometimes SOA or not :laughing6:

Nice job on the fuses lol.

I usually tend to get into that upper 2/3rd range on the volume knob with vinyl. I find it dials in a lot nicer than cds and even reels. Though the reels dont need that much volume considering the range of sound offered on the lower spectrum.

AC/DC, nice choice. Always been a huge fan of Ride On.

Those don't look like AGX type fuses, they are too long. AGX fuse dimensions are 1/4" (W) x 1" (L).

[SUB]Bet Ed knows. He is the OEM PL Guru right ?

I know I replaced all of them on both the PL 400 and the PL 700. It was kind of a PITA either way. Try and find and order those tiny bastards or just replace. Either way a pain so I went with the "best route". Did you have a chance to look over the voice recording app or decide fuck it.

For a good technical reason
AGX is a very fast blow series for electronic instrumentation
AGC is a fast blow series for general application

AGX I squared T rating is lower than the AGC for an equivalent fuse rating.

The AGX5 blows in 1 second with 7A applied
The AGC5 blows in 1 second with 10A applied

Mouser always stocks AGX fuses.
