NRBQ - Tiddly Winks
(1980, Red Rooster/Rounder)

these guys started as a rehearsal band in KY in 1966. I don't think I've seen this Rounder / Red Rooster label variation before.

No such things as bad days, just bad moments
Another band I've never heard of - Rockets. Was going through a stack of LP's on a cart in a thrift store before they got put out for sale and thought the name was Rockers. Passed it by but saw it again once on the shelf, noticed it was actually Rockets so bought it. Turns out to be their third of several albums - Turn Up the Radio from 1979. Listened to it when I got home yesterday and much better than I was expecting.

Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rockets_(band) is pretty informative. Despite that I'd not heard of them, this band seemed to have enjoyed some, but not widespread, degree of popularity. Founding members from Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and a Lynyrd Skynyrd connection.

Fondler errrr... fan of all Nav's avatars
Never heard that German version SLF, probably right around 1980-81 issue? I have had several of the original olive label Warner's though, his best album IMO
