News : right channel is good only the left one is "dead" (very low level and DHT)...

Entirely possible Alain has done that. Joe worked out a fix for the "latch up" problem on the original stock boards. Turnon/off thump is cured by a DC protect board too.. as much as I have invested in speakers, I'm just not comfortable running an amp without DC protection of some sort. During manufacture every output is not tested, that's reason enough for me...

Well, true dat, but watts have done more damage that DC, that's for sure.

Breaking news !

Hi guys,

I've received my amp from my friend and you know what ?
The -100V Left fuse is dead !
I've checked the transistors and all are good, no short circuit.
I replaced from the right channel and it works.

I must to buy some because my stock is somewhere in a box (not easy to change home... :-/)
I will try to find those from Radiospares...

700B and 45 cal. saved ! :))))

Alain told me that he make a modification on PL14 to remove the "Plop" : just to confirm my last thread...
