Got the build done but I am having a problem. After I got the back plane boards installed and the bottom row of transistors in I did the basic test and initial power up. Everything was fine. I then discharged, or at least thought I had, the supply caps using the resistor and alligator clips I had been told to build... I should have double checked! While I was screwing in the 3rd one from the bottom I found out the hard way the caps were not all the way discharged!
After I did that I tested them in circuit and everything seemed fine. I have since pulled all of them out and rechecked and they all test good. My problem is the amp has no bass per say. It starts sounding bad as soon as I crank it up.
