I've pretty much been playing some new/old/used stuff that I bought recently, cleaning up the old stuff on the SpinClean and tracking them. So far, only one disappointment: "Thick as a Brick" sounds like a FlexiDisc, but everything else is in pretty good condition.

My back has been a wreck lately, jostling on the lawnmower didn't help, and then standing in the record stores for extended periods of time compounded the pain. Been hitting the narcotics as a result, and the fact is especially evident in the second video...

Sun Ra Orchestra, Live at the Storyville in NYC - 24th October 1977
Red vinyl, no labels on disc (read the deadwax to determine the side!). Clear vinyl jacket with clear vinyl printed performer/track list.
Limited edition of 500 copies, not numbered, no significant information in deadwax (other than which side is which!).

Gimmicky packaging, but musically a good record, E+ vinyl quality. Nice presence to the sound.

Joe Walsh - Analog Man
(2012, Concord Music) "Do I Hear Bubbles?" / "I Don't Know... Ask Szymczyk" in the deadwax, sides B/A

"I'm an analog man in a digital world"

I think some folks here would enjoy this as much as I did - a funny & grumpy Neil Young talking about differences between analog and digital audio on a netcast this week. He says he'd listen to records all the time but he can't fit a turntable in his pocket.
