Welcome Lastplace, I couldn't help but noticing the cartridge you use, excellent choice, I have never looked back since buying one.

Here's mine:

 
I'll confirm your thumbs up on that cartridge d2. Mine is just broken in. While still a bit bright (not necessarily bad) it works well with my Dual.

Gonna change over to the SX-828 as a pre to see if it makes a difference.

Yes I will be changing pres in the future as well. The brightness doesn't bother me either. Sibilance rarely occurs. This cart tracks like a dream on the inner grooves, detail! I did quite a few stylus drops to digital pre break in and post break in, have yet to compare them, should be interesting. Some people adjust the capacitance on the pre to compensate for the brightness but I don't feel any need to do it at this stage.
