Honestly I'd be uncomfortable shipping this at all. Thats really the problem with heavy stuff, its hard to pack, expensive to ship, and easy to damage.
 
Its not March though, and you don't need an entire case of cabbage to do proper tribute to the great chefs of Ireland. Besides, a couple meals of corned beef and cabbage are enough for me. An entire case of the stuff would have me converting the house to natural gas heat.
