80 volt caps?

Ben's is next. ......It's getting the Rev "D" driver board, Rev "B" backplanes, LED light board, Don's DCP, 18,000uf/80volt Cornell-Dubilier PScaps, MJ21195's and 96 outputs.....pretty much everything we can do...
Lee, I thought the WOPL's needed 100 volt caps?

They do, this one has Joe's 100 volt cap stacks... The only 80 volt I use are the old stock Ed sends me once in awhile. He had a stash of 80 volt CD's that I'm confident can stand the push, but he's about out. Remember I'm the guy that runs those 100volt/22,000uf's in my personal 700's.....

Plus, I doubt I'll even restore enough Spec 2's to burn up my stock of those 100volt/22k caps. I think I bought 30 of em...course a Spec 2 takes 4 of em...

Whats the rail voltage on a 400, 75v? If so, an 80v cap ought to work, though it is a bit tight. The stock 700 rails were at or a couple volts over their caps too. I think mine runs like 103v and the caps are 100v rated.
