1976 Vintage there is a gap in the serial numbers but they were installed in the basement I extracted them from new.
A kitty used all the side grills to sharpen its claws somewhere along the line but grill cloth is readily available thru Bob Crites.

JEEZ DUDE!!!!!!

Al right, better list the other pairs of Klipsch, you may have a new nickname-----King of Klipsch!!!

It is a little known fact that Serial # 8P111 was on a forklift that went off the dock and smashed it to smithereens. :happy3:

LOL .... Historic event for sure

76 Heresys
78 Cornwalls
81 Lascalas
81 Belles
and now 76 Klipschorns

During my first Klipsch experence in 73 the guy in the audio store said The bigger the box The bigger the sound Its all a matter of physics.
Been HOOKED ever since super efficient

When ya get em up and running and listen to em for awhile, then you can come by the house and hear how much better they can sound...

Nothin funny about that, pure fact....just a crossover change out will amaze ya...

Excellent Idea ... was figurein when changing the crossovers as necessary maintenance might just swap out the Woofer to the cast frame version MAN that made a big difference with the Lascalas much more solid on the bottom end

Are you aware of Al Klappenberger's site ?? Alkeng.com?

Crites makes a DAMN NICE replacement for the K-33 cast frame...

Alkeng.com ... No never heard of em and yes I have 0 thats zero complaints about anything Crites, the man is a pleasure to talk with and if hes not in a push he can fill a person with info on anything Klipsch. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Talked to him many times on the phone myself. EXTREMELY helpful individual. Now, to take it to the next level, the original Klipsch crossovers, even when new are inadequate. Go to Al's website and do a little reading. He is a filter genius and i have built 5 pairs of his "universal" crosses for the K's. Simply phenomenal...

I for me, 1 for Kevin, 1 for Tim, 1 for Chris, and 1 for another guy....

OH ... I thought 5 for yours ... LOL ... gonna say something is amiss

Was having some problems with the swamping resistors, but that's cured. In the speaker forum there is a thread called " Al K's Homebrew Crossovers"
