A NICE PAIR .... and BIG ones

Last night when I wrote the question I was just starting on Kevin's Khorn thread, I started at the end ..... LOL little did I know when I started he did the horns in the beginning so I ended up going thru 60 pages backwards to get to that part, oh well it was interesting even backwards .... and hey Kevin where did you guys get the veneer, was it locale or on line?? There is NOTHING available here local aside from 3/4 edge banding. These speakers by their designation are BR birch raw, they have obviously been sanded stained and cleared, but my intent is to do them in red oak veneer to match the Belles, I like lighter woods anyway, I think they show off the grain better in my opinion.

Ya know Steve - sometimes the threads here make more sense when you read them backwards. :confused1: :shaking2: :confused1:

Yeah - Christmas was good. Mom was here and spent time with my sisters and their families - good stuff all around. It's plummeted down to 54 degrees F. Shorts and tee shirts here.

Well then .... Looked like a real pain in the ass building those wood horns, I was looking to see if the elliptical would fit in the original position without moving the tweeter to the side, maintaining the appearance??

Yep Fastlane made em a drop in replacement. Check out Fastlane's link on the index page, check em out...

OK was just looking ... must be what they call the base finish ... Yes?

They offer them in a base or exposed finish ... I dunno might just have to call them

Lot to read ... pretty detailed but some what vague I like the way Klipsch made em look so I like the idea of keeping that.
