It was supposed to be a Christmas present last year...either a CT-F900 or a 950, Lee can't even remember now.

Of course I'm crapping my own thread. Sorry. I've had a year of frustration and pain...I still give.

Never mind then. I'm still not a slave, it was a poorly thought out joke.

I want the tape deck you promised me November 9, 2013. I'm sad that I have to yank your chain in the first place. I'm happy to finish everything but you keep telling me you're gonna do this and it just goes away. I've been fairly good and worked hard enough for everyone here and it hurts to have this tape deck dangling in my face...and I lost over $100 on two busted Pioneer decks that I paid for in February.

Maybe you can't really do much about that but I've really been looking forward to one of the best cassette decks I could ever hope to own. I've stuck it out through all of your crises, tax times, illnesses and vacations. I don't have vacations-I can't even afford a few bucks to buy stuff at karaoke as it's not free to get John in there to jockey and some weeks are pretty dead.

That's all I wanted was a really nice tape deck I could USE out of the box. That wasn't too much, was it?

You probably haven't even sent the postage allowance anyway.

I've said my 2 cents on it. I can't understand why I'm ignored a lot unless I raise a stink, it's stupid and I don't like doing it either.

Sorry.

Steven, that's enough.....

Of course it is. Just send it and let's go back to work as usual.

Thank you.

Steven .....one last time......I have asked on 4 different occaisions to pick it up......on those 4 occasions I was told...."Na, we'll get it later"....

I will not burgle my partners house, I will not force myself into his home....and I will no longer offer to send things I THINK I might get my hands on SO YOU WONT HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT....I suggest you drop this immediately....and THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE ANOTHER WORD>...

You're about to piss me off....and whether that joke was in bad taste or not shouldn't even be a consideration around here.... nothing is meant in a derogatory fashion AND YOU KNOW IT SOGET OFF OF THAT SOAPBOX NOW!!

Let me put it this way:

I believe this whole story is a disappointment for Steven, but I also believe in the best intentions of Lee.

If I had the desired Pioneer deck in my collection Steven would get for free also, but some months ago I had the same sort of thing with Sep trying to ship a very nice Technics deck as a gift to him.
Shipping costs were more than six times higher than the whole deck was worth, so Sep and I decided to cancel the shipping of it.

It's too much fun in here and these misunderstandings happening in this thread aren't "Phoenix Alike"....

I honestly do hope it will be solved soon guys.

Ditto, sometimes shit happens beyond someone's control. I'd just let it go Bro, if it happens it happens. I was supposed to get CT-F1250 from one of Lee's friends for $100 + shipping (or something like that been awhile since I even thought about it). I talked to the guy on the phone and he said we were good to go and then something happened. Was I pissed? Yeah for a minute but... shit happens :toothy5:

I'm probably close to half way to having a CD lineup to burn.

I've been fiddling with Audacity 2.0.6 and I plugged the deck's outputs directly into the microphone input...man that sounded really crappy. I wonder if the Audigy's input will be better or there is something else to input to on that card.

Also, please check the first post and chime in if you are on it but haven't gotten back and confirmed your address.

The recording was REALLY overloaded and crappy, but that was with the front input on the Dell Optiplex.

Oh WAIT...I don't have an AUDIGY on this one...that will be remedied in a minute.

I spent a couple hours tonight and I believe I have all the track I need for the CD...now to record them later today and get a master done.

I had a lot of fun finding songs and think you'll really enjoy the album!

I'm ripping the last track of the CD right now...Only about 41-2 minutes long but there are 14 tracks of many musical genres, a surprise or two perhaps!

The titles page is ready and aligned to match the fronts and then I can finish and get ready to send al the packages.

I made a couple typos to correct but the test disc sounds AWESOME...it's almost a country album at 39 minutes and change but WHEE! That was FUN! :blob8:

NOTE

I worked all night, well into the morning on getting the master made and starting the CD burning. I missed one of the tracks I wanted to put on the CD so about half of the first batch have a some crossed out as it wouldn't be fair to have some with and some without.

The titles will be corrected and won't show the error on a few, and the rest I make for friends and spares for Lee.

I suppose that I should never work overnight in a convenience store
