Dazen’s Digest

For you European folks....there is a BMW commercial that shows an old steam locamotive and it says " Sarokin First" any idea where that is...looks a lot like Pripyat....

Is it a video? Can you put the link here?

99,9999% of Europe isn't looking like Pripyat Lee..

I figured that Miles. Come to think of it it may have been an Acura commercial. It flashed on a lot of overgrown town. The ferris wheel and merry-go-round also figured prominently. That's what had me think in of Pripyat.

I thought Pripyat also - but could not find a video on line.

Schossberger Castle / Istvántelek Trainyard (Budapest).

Both in Hungary.

Daren; You're a f*&$in genious! How the hell did you found that?

Ah... I know... Lee said it was a BMWcommercial, so I googled for that.

Nevertheless: The knowledge of European geography (and brands of classy cars) is serious problem in here sometimes.

Most of the european folks are too lazy to maintain their garden, so that's the reason it all looks a bit like Pripyat in the summer.

LOL!

You should see my garden.

How long can I keep the title of "f*&$in genius" for?

I don't want a MERCEDES-BENZ that looks like a SUBARU.

Four of a kind....

Tonight we played some different tuned Lamelle instruments....

four of a kind.jpg

They are all sounding wonderful.

I'm still proud to own one of these instruments.

How many different ones are there??

At the moment there are only 14 Lamelles, each tuned in a different way.

Introducing the band...

Jeff Beck on guitar
Herbie Flowers on bass
Ginger Baker on drums
Boris Blank on keyboards
Miracle Mile on Lamelle

And make some noise (!) for our guest vocalist...

Funny you've choosen Herbie flowers to play the bass; He was the bass player from Curved Air and later on he played bass and tuba at SKY.
SKY was a typical (and rather dull) late seventies rock/pop ensemble playing some classical works in poppy style.

We left our guest vocalst behind in the tourbus with a bottle of whiskey during the gig.
