Ahhh indeed the Rhino's are good pressings. I have Cowboys, Vulgar, Driven, Steel, 101 Proof Live, and Trendkill, as well as Sabbaths, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Master Of Reality, and Vol 1. All of them sound great. Rhino and B2B are some of the top repress' IMO. Not sure who did the Zep, and Jimi, reissues but those are great too.

Man, if you look you can find new music out there that's seriously kicks ass. This band is probably one of the best in a LONG time. I found them on Youtube quite by accident, The Fight Song check it out. I love the riffchop at 1:45 fucking badass!!!!!

Anyway...

Sister Sin - Now and Forever ltd to 400 copies on clear bloodred splatter 180gr vinyl. Excellent production, excellent band

I dig chicks who have the balls to front a metal band and pull it off, She does it righteous

Yes 'Close to the Edge' - Steve Wilson commissioned 2013 Remix/Remaster CD + Bluray Edition

Sampling the CD now. Sounds fantastic. Sounds different in this 2-channel presentation with amazing presence/ambiance.
There's what is called an "LP drop" on the Bluray disk, where there is a PCM capture of an actual UK vinyl pressing. Haven't listened to that yet and
not quite sure what type of "treatment" is given to that particular recording but I'll post up a more thorough accounting of my impressions once I've digested this release.
It will be interesting to see if it's completely de-clicked or only a little bit.

For some reason 'Fragile' hasn't been done yet but 'The Yes Album' has.
'Relayer' gets the same Steve Wilson mastery come November.
Can't wait !

This band is awesome - what a great find. I see you're spinning their vinyl - cool. Do you know where they're from - obviously from Europe but I couldn't place them.

I'd like to see where she hide her balls though! :tongue5:

Checking out 'Black Country Communion'.

Bonamassa on guitar, Bonham on drums and Hughes on vocals/bass. Pretty intrigued by what I am hearing so far ...
