Gotcha! Would have loved to see that show- bet it was great. Been a Slayer fan since Haunting the Chapel/ Hell Awaits. New to the Gojira scene and dig what I have heard by them.

Hey Doug, are those Metallica LP's on Metallica's Blackened label? If so how do they sound? Seen Puppets, Black Album, and Load down at the shop today, wondering what these are like.

Hey Doug, are those Metallica LP's on Metallica's Blackened label? If so how do they sound? Seen Puppets, Black Album, and Load down at the shop today, wondering what these are like.

The label on jacket says "half- speed from Mobile Fidelity"- not sure if that helps. They sound good but need a little more volume knob to get 'em to sing. Quite a bit different sonically to me that the original CD. The 2M Blue makes everything sound so very good to my ears, Ben.

I was hoping to order Kill 'Em All when available from Blackened and will keep you posted. I think my LRS has a copy of Kill... on the Mobile Fidelity label and may have to get both to do the side- by- side comparison. Looks like a couple of albums have been released, including Master.

Kill Em All is one that is not yet in my arsenal. I once came across what was listed as an original in a record shop. They were asking over 100 for it. This was also when vinyl prices were on the down low. I had the guy pull it down so I could check it.....was a MFN pressing from France I believe. I told him to put it back up on the shelf and change the price cuz it wasnt no original.
