i'm really enjoying the latest cd's from Neil Finn, The Black Keys and Beck. Beck is a bit less rock than it is roll, but its one of the best sounding recordings i've heard.

A couple years old now, but anyone else like Chuck Prophet's Temple Beautiful album? I'm looking forward to his Night Surfer release later this year as well, have heard a few advance tracks and I'm expecting it to be excellent as well. He's the ex lead singer of the defunct Green on Red. Nice, straight-ahead slightly roots infected rock and roll .

Man, I don't even know where to begin with recommendations. It seems the only good rock out now is obscure stuff, everything else I have heard is geared to an already existing audience instead of creating a new one with blood, sweat and beers

I picked up the most recent release, "Turn Blue" by the Black Keys and I like it. I have the "El Camino" album on vinyl, too.
