Well that was awkward! Walked in to a meeting of dancers!! I was a week early lol. So I'm back. The 220 feed coming out of my generator has a dryer plug on it. And in garage I have a old piece of wire with a dryer outlet on it. So I'm gonna try that route....

Take a pic of the wires inside the box....if it's 240, there should be 3 wires coming out of the motor...

Lmao. I can't find a diagram . There's the start up cap on side. That little cover on top don't have any writing on it.
Your start cap connections look pretty roached. What is this motor for and where is it installed. Pretty nasty environment where ever it is.

Its 8ft underground with a concrete block walls and a concrete top but there's a 2x2entance hole in lid that gets covered with plywood. So yeah it's got it rough. It's my old 2" well that I'm trying to get going because it's way better water than the 4in well I have.

It looks to be wired for 110...but the start cap like Joe said is ready for the graet amp in the sky......are the tabs on the cap burnt or just corroded?

These things were getting hard to find a few years ago. I used that well for over 12 years and prob put either 3 or 4 motors on it. Used cheapest was like 200 to 250$. That's why I was hoping I could get it going lol.

Well, there a re a few things it can be...we still need to ohm the motor leads, a test lead on each one..
