Very clean needing repairs run between $425 and $575. This looks pretty rough and non working.
It could be a diamond in the rough or a bad bag of parts. (the parts won't sell cause there are very few out there and
the parts people would need are the one's that are worn out on units like this).
I had figured this deck would be in that price range in that type of condition.

Feel lucky? I would guess about $300 without more close ups and see it with power on.
I was thinking 150 to 200 based on what has been seen. The pics definitely arent doing it any justice and the door on it is closed.... Who knows whats behind the mystery door?

One of my fears would be if someone that didn't know what they were doing was inside it. Full set of pictures including interior could only
help increase the price.

Can anybody name anything with the Phase Linear name on it more complicated than the 7000.

I don't think so Mike. Doesn't matter anyway they'll just get gutted if doing the WO upgrades...

No, and ED and Dean agree with your assessment..

Jim, I don't know exactly what they have. You'd have to ask Ed. I'm justy remembering some of our conversations, he has mentioned having some parts for those and the PL-8000....

Look, I'LL offer the $200 for the 7000, regardless of if it's wet sh!t with ramen for belts. I'm just going to state right now that I have now paid for all of my debts and Bill's TX-6500 AND the CT-F7272 and hope to complete getting what I wanted in September with the RT-909 (and maybe an RT-1020L in time for Christmas if I work hard.

It LOOKS like some of the parts are sourced from the CT-F850/950? and broken or not I'd like to have something Nando does not!

Steven stop buying audio gear for a year and save up those dollars then you will have the resources to purchase those few select things you would like without having to make payments. In the mean time you will have the funds you need to eat properly and keep your bike maintained and treat yourself to a large hard drive.

Stereos are a lot more important than computers, with the exception of needing information of them. Are you telling me to stifle my dreams?

I've got a couple or three drives over 200 GB at my disposal, and I can get more. No worries there/

There is a fine line between stifling your dreams and having enough food to last till the end of the month though. Only you can weigh the two and adjust the appropriate balance between the two. I suppose I was just offering an unwanted opinion though.

My freezer and fridge are full and my cupboards too. I'm already working on Christmas, for them and myself. I'm caught up now on debts and my portion of the rent goes down by nearly half in September with the new contract. Should I go find the battery charger and take pictures?

I get my own presents. 15 years ago I could manage to buy my family members food or they could afford that for me when any of us was in need. My oldest sister was newly married and had just one baby and some anonymous person had stocked up for Y2K just in case and when all hell didn't happen sold a TONNE of Albertson's canned goods etc at pennies on the dollar...so I bought copiously and shared with everybody in the family nearby.

I have laid out budgets for over 20 years. I'm also getting what I wanted before I can't in another year or so and trading what I can.

You didn't offer an unwanted opinion, it was only one I had to explain.

I used both cassette decks yesterday and I was pretty happy with them. Thank you. I had some sleep around 10 PM because I was pretty tired and it was useless to try and fight it...I'm going back in a little bit.

OKAY, I'll go find the charger.

I've got three boxes of cereal alone, 2 dozen drumsticks, 18/20 burger patties, 6 loaves of bread, 14 cans of green beans alone, rice, over 2 dozen cans of kidney and black beans, four bottle of Heinz ketchup, stewed tomatoes, bought two small pizzas and frozen potatoes and a large bag of oriental stirfry vegetables (and I don't use a drop of oil, I microwave)...

On top of that I bought a 166 load bottle of laundry detergent and enough TP for two months...all with my benefits and 78 dollars of stamps...some lumber for a picnic table rebuild for $5.

I paid the last debt I had (or at least I WILL, I was shocked to hear they were at the hospital as their oldest daughter had a huge TUMOR removed in surgery today) and I was at least very happy to find Bi-Mart now carries a much larger line of my New Balance shoes that last 5X longer than crappy Chinese soles and don't kill me after 1 1/2 months...I found my usual 608 crosstrainers for nearly 20 dollars off at $39.49 and my mom no longer has to go to Meridian's outlet store for me. I NEEDED the shoes, the two pairs I have alternated wearing for over half a year were just shot and hurt.

I sent that package too. Was I expecting you to send extra? No, not at all. I'm more than pretty grateful for it though and I took care of everything else, including getting a replacement refill for the statin I know I brought in last Saturday but cannot find now and I'm clean shaven again with the razors that replaced the ones I got the that day as well that were with them. It was only $10 for the pills and $3 for razors, and there were more of them for less, thank goodness and if I find the first soon at least I'll have two months worth.

But I'll have those pictures up shortly in the Casa Orange thread so I'm not crapping this one further. I have to go through a few boxes and put things together in order, which I needed to do anyhow. I got some food but it was mostly taking care of shoes, and bills and the original shipping for the guy you handled Paypal for.

Nights are supposed to be for sleeping for me, not days. I'm sorry but I didn't mean to upset anybody. I'm tired of getting hollered at over a computer instead of talking more often then. People can't hide so much like that and then they wonder why the world is so stupid. I don't even hear from my counselors anymore...it's been at least 3 weeks.

I'll get the rest of the power bill in the morning too. I already had that worked out. And I have dozens of belts. And time.

Sounds like you have it under control. Carry on. Your welcome on the cassette decks, I am glad they went to a good home.

Let's leave this thread for the PL stack that is for sale.
