I should have said 20 that I possibly watch or have watched. I have 20 of the ones I receive programmed into the remote so I can skip over the others. I have the tv on maybe 1.5 to 2 hours a day in the evening from 9pm to maybe 11pm. I don't stare at it but rather glance at it while I surf the web and play with the dog.

The older I get the less I do of everything. Not sure why? :rabbit:

Funny...

How further this thread develops, the stronger my thoughts get to this:

Yes, Laz...most people have a box that connects to the phone line and then to 1-4 computers via Ethernet connection to a router or individual NICs and also a phone line out filtered to keep out the DSL noises.

Somebody bought some good Shiite.

I'm on Charter cable. The problem with cable, at least in my area, is that there is no competition, so they charge whatever they like. We started out with the $99 a month "bundle". That's cable tv, cable internet, and cable telephone. Just ran a speed test and I'm at 16.04 mps download and 4.39 mps upload. I have two computers running right now, and no tv on, unless one of the cable boxes is recording something...they advertise 60 mps. Usually I average around 30 mps, which is really nice.
Anyway, the "bundle" went up to around $125 a month after the first year, then we added more channels, don't even know how many! No HBO or any movie channels, but pretty much everything else. We got 3 dvr boxes which are really cool, I record a ton of stuff to watch later. But now we're paying $175 a month for our tv, cable, and the phone that we never use but have anyway because it's cheaper to have it than not. It's crazy expensive, but my wife uses the system for her business, so we write it off at tax time.

I'm usually against bigger government but cable was a lot more reasonably priced before they deregulated it. And like I said at the start, we don't have a choice. It's cable or satellite, and I looked into Dish network and the other one, and they end up costing the same for us.

What's happening tonight?

The 'supermoon', I knew that.

My internal Usenet provider has lousy retention and all the newsgroups are taken over by 'kooks'.

How 90s is that?
