I believe that Lee is still fishing - sounds like they're having fun. I know that he has many packages delivered to his home and I'm sure there is someone on hand to tend to it so I wouldn't worry much.

Cool - what are you having done to your amp? The full Montey?

Not sure how full the Full Monty is but it is to be a WO conversion.

And this is his hobby? When does he have time for income generation? If Lee gets a few of these delivered, he and/or his neighbours must be in pretty good shape. After the packing job I did, the shipping weight was just shy of 59 pounds.

I think a read somewhere in this forum about amber colored lights and that sounded cool.

The blue ones in your avatar look nice but are reminiscent of those Mac.... something or other.

BTW, how far into the boonies were you fishing? When I read Alcova it made me think Alcoa/Alcan = aluminum - that needs electricity - that means hydro power - that means northern mountains. I Googled Alcova and now see it's a lot closer to home for you than what I thought.

Tents or lodge and what were you catching?

My 27 foot Jayco Eagle fifth wheel camp trailer, pulled by my company 1-1/2 ton Sterling truck...burns company diesel to. With a 52 gallon tank I don't buy diesel on the trip either.

seriously a light board and your choice of color. I'd recommend white as the have just enough blue hue to make em not white. As far as the amber go we'll have to talk Doug (fitz43) outta some spares if he has any left. They had the right amount of dispersion which is critical..

Wily Wyoming trout and lots of em...didn't land anything bigger than 4 lbs but had some hooke for awhile that made the ol heart thump REAL HARD, couldn't even slow down 2 of em..and I as running 8 pound tippets. Didn't have any breakoffs but when you're rinning #18 flies it's hard ro get a solid hook on the bigger fish so you have to run with enm up and down the river so you don't have a lot of heavy fly line creating a lot of drag as the fish pulls it through the water and sonmetime I can't get otta the river fast enough. Had one take me into my backing and halway through it before I could get my stick off my back and make 3 steps to shore....he was in the 15lb and plus range...

BTW, What did you think of my packing job? I was actually quite proud of it. It took a long time and I hope it was good enough to withstand 50 lbs or so of amplifier being bounced around.
