What gauge of wire - single conductor shielded or twisted pair shielded? We can help if the coffers are low.

I agree - once you start rewiring with the good stuff how can you leave any original wiring in there. There are a few tricks to keep heat from melting the shitty insulation of the original wire but why? The various Teflon wire types are soooooooooo nice to use.

Have you seen any differences (besides the meters) between the 700 B and 700 II - it would be interesting to see what those are.

Navo, bless your heart, I was being a supreme smart ass.....I have plenty and will have for some time, and then just a few colors will bring me back up to speed ....It was the quietest pre-conversion I have tested, in the 400micro volt range and SNR around 105...so I'm thinkin once we work Joe's magic on it , it should be something special....

Very low starting numbers - is the 700 II wiring layout better than other versions or maybe this one just turned out better than most.

As a matter of fact, I saw Diana Ross couple of weeks ago on the 17th of this June. She still sings pretty well for a 70 year old. She did not come to any big decisions however...except what outfit to wear
