Zep Remastered

If you don't buy any other remastered CD's in your lifetime, buy these if you are Zep fan... even if you don't buy these but know someone that did, borrow them...

If your system is good enough to hear improvements in remasters, you will be floored at the improvements.
It gets progressively better with each disk; I can only imagine as the rest of the catalog gets released, just how killer these Zep-remasters might sound as the underlying studio gear and engineering techiques got better. Can't wait for "Presence" to be released for that very reason - but wait I will.

"II" kicks some serious ass; "III" really opens up; "I" sounds cleaner but is a seriously less complex album to begin with so it demos the least amount of improvement.

If you ever see these two-disc deluxe versions available *used* for cheap or at $10 or less new -and again you're a big Zep fan - buy them !

[YMMV depending on the gear used...]

Checking out some Priest tracks and clips from the new album. Gonna be a good one I think.

I have been waiting for the Zep remasters to show up in my local vinyl shop.

Is there a remastered version of no quarter that actually don't have the god awful noise in the background . I love that song but damn after 20 remasters you'd think they would fix that . Kinda like the stones sticky fingers great album but it must be unremasterble lol..

Oh right, I bet the vinyl Zep will be mind blowing too. I'm not a Zep complete-ist so I hadn't thought that side of it. I'll probably spring for 'Presence' on vinyl and maybe "II" but I already own a copy of a MoFi "II" that presents itself nicely. Even used it on my traveling tape contributions ...

Excited to hear more of that JP release too, thanks for the heads-up! :glasses8:

The only one I dont have on vinyl is III. My brother is the Zep-head, so I typically send any cool Zeppelin stuff to him. I still have his One More Night Live boot here, that I bought for him some time ago. That said, I would probably buy all the new remasters on vinyl, given enough time, and supposing they dont all disappear too quick.

As far I know, these aren't limited edition - like RSD releases - so they'll be around from here on out.
And from what I can tell, with "III" having so much acoustical material on it, it will probably sound amazing on LP.

is it wrong that instead of watching Nancy and Ann the whole time, I was looking around for Phase Linear gear?

SLF, how did you wind up with all the promo albums?
I've run across most them just by shopping in the local used market in the past decade. I think there were a lot of them were sent by the labels to the big record stores and radio stations. I remember there were dozens of record stores in the 70's in the Seattle area - Tower Records, Peaches, Everybody's Records - some of them were as big as supermarkets and with lots of staff.

Here's an old TV ad for Everybodys - their store in Shoreline was a regular stop for me:

I'm sure that lots of the folks who worked at those stores were able to take home a lot of Promo records. Also I know a few local radio stations have dumped their entire catalogs of Promo LPs over the years in different sales. And now they are showing up on the used market - most in pristine shape since they were owned by music fans and collectors. Yay.

Now those 2 have a Hottie daughter....
Ive never met bekka but have met and sang with Bonnie. She is such a good woman .. They were a great band. Her solo stuff is awesome too. On Roseanne the other waitress Bonnie is her at that point here name was Bonnie Sheridan .she originally was a back up singer for Ike and Tina . In those days she had to go blackface to be able to preform and that's no joke..
