Damn.. Hell yeah. We might hit them read outs lol. I'm so happy you don't even know.

I'm back! Did I miss anything lmao! I'm so damn excited. I looked up that tuner and it says it was there best of all the pl tuners. It said it was the last also. Them they went car stereo. But it retailed in 81 or 82 for 650$.. There tape deck and CD players that lp put out were crazy.

thanks to Pioneer...

The tape deck is crazy it's like 48lbs and huge. They had 1 turntable that was a linear tracker modeled after the pioneer pl1000. It's funny to see the diff in there stuff. Like my pre and that tuner were Jensen but the tuner guy was the same as from pioneer lol. They moved factory's from Washington to Texas I guess. I guess some of the tuners say Washington on them but not many.

The 5200's were Pioneer design, the 500's and 5100's were pure AP VanMeter. Worked for McIntosh before gooing over to PL. Still alive today and Ed goes and sees him once in awhile....
The PL8000 is a Pioneer Pl-l1000, same unit...and ED and Dean still work on em...Those bad ass tape decks too. Dean is the main man with those...

Like Lee said that wire is nice stuff - can't go back once you use it.

Here's a couple of your logos:
