Beancounters strike again Lee...for the USA to become dominant again, manufacturers have to work at constantly improving the product value rather than making it cheaper.

So what your sayin is mine is so late a model they started losing stuff to drop there manufactures cost? If so I wonder if it's because they already knew they were selling the name or just plain and simple cost cuts?

And that's pretty sad Joe. Look at the 700B as a product that still had tremendous upside, as you've shown........

Phase Linear got sold several times. In the last days of the 700B the company had been sold and was in transition to the Series 2 which was another move to lower costs (and change the style to keep it current with the competition). Many companies succumb to that practice unfortunately.

And still improving it....we can now say the "buzz" is not inherent to the design....IT CAN BE FIXED.....

Joe, I'm glad you spend so much of your time and energy here, I'm glad everyone here spends the time and energy to be here. This is a funny place and just makes my day...
