That was a nice ride you had there - things have changed a bit since '72 though. It's a kick to walk around at night in downtown - some very interesting characters.

That hasn't changed then...wasn't my car, it was a friends. the only thing i had to drive was Mom's 67 Catalina....

We used to cut school and drive down in a 67 Camaro with a 396, lifted in the rear and dropped a smidgeon in the front, nice rims - but like you it was a friends car. We did have fun hanging out.

We didn't have far to go to get to a beach but if you wanted lots of eye candy you had to venture towards Malibu and Santa Monica.

The ones I know of were Pirates Cove in Malibu and Bates Beach in Santa Barbara. The swimming holes in Los Padres had a fair share of clothing optional too.
