Aussie HELP NEEDED!!!!

Very cool George, hope it arrives safely and once again Thank you so much for helping me with this.

UPDATE:

The 'deceased' CB PL700 II, was sent today ex-SYD, and on it's way to MEL. (finally.)
I should have it around Tuesday.

More updates as they come to hand.

That is all…..

You got Pay-Pal right?

Ok, when you get the shipping charges, I'll take care of that..

*UPDATE:

The PL700 has been received, the x-former removed, re-packed and ready to on-post to the US tomorrow.

:glasses8:

No sense going air mail, I won't be ready. So what's your pay-pal address? I've got 2 e-mail addresses?

Use the one I posted from the last email to you Lee. (gmail.com)
Wait until after tomorrow tho'.
I can't weigh the box accurately enough here. It may still go a touch over 6Kg.

Sounds good BD.

WOPL the world indeed! Making jaws drop all over the globe.

I like the story where you were demoing the amp and had it hidden, and people's reaction when you revealed it. The Pig =), is that a 400 or 700? and why is it called the pig?

The Pig is a 400. It is called the Pig for ---Guinea Pig. He's the one that got the first set of copper heatsinks, and some other stuff, and he was a loanerwhen I do someones amp and they need one in the meantime. Plus he snickers a lot when your back is turned.....

When an amp is clipping, can you hear it by ear as distortion or do you need to verify that by a light/meter on the amp itself?

no doubt about it, you'll hear it…..
…. but if you're talking about WOPL's, then you won't because you'll be too busy using the fire extinguisher on your speakers.

It sounds like a "crack" mostly. And there will be plenty of "now that ain't f&^%$# right" warnings.
