Got the faceplate off. yep looks like the same board shop did this board too. Same as the 3300. I'm forewarned. we'll see how it goes.

Thank you Jase. The traces on this is not near as bad as the 3300. These seem to be much better attached to the board. No problems so far.

Right on,Ron!!!! I think its cool how Lee and everyone show you step by step what their doing. Its a really cool thing for you to be able to see it step by step until the finished product. I've been kinda scarce on here lately, cuz i just been feeling crummy.(body has been adjusting to having nothing since I got out of the clinic)And when I don't feel that great,I hardly ever get on the comp.Took forever but finally starting to feel good again, and up and movin again and starting to feel really good!!!!

So I should be on here quite a bit more often, again. And thanks for those Crowes boots that you sent to Jason!!! I've always loved the Crowes, and never knew about those!!!!!! It's really neat hearing some of that different stuff that didn't hit the albums and a lot of it there are parts that ended up in different songs and stuff. Just wanted to thank u,because i never even knew about em :smokin:

Doug-(fitz43) We can use the OPA-2134's in all op-amp placements. Muse caps in the phono section, and Z6 is a low voltage regulator for the MC section of the phono section....this won't take long...

Is it the same for the devices in the 3800? Are you going to put this 3600 pre on the AP? Before/After specs? It would be interesting to know how much the modded pre's specs are improved. Do you need a special card in the AP to do phono sections? I think we were in another thread with this conversation.....

Yes we were Doug, I posted in this one by mistake. Don't know about the 3800 yet. The AP does not have an RIAA curve tracer. I have PL's factory RIAA curve tracer, but it's on the fritz and needs to go to Nav to get fixed...

Hey - I read that. I don't think I want to do Fritz unless she's cute! Do you have the schematics - an in house design maybe?
