Okay SLF....what up with Technics...what up with the room..More pics of your collection please.
Its a nice room for fun, casual listening. My collection, like a lot of folks, is not much to look at..rooms and basements with shelves and boxes of records. The gear is lots of fun, including some interesting speakers - Altec Valencias, Phase Linear Andromedas, Carver Amazings, Frazier Model 15s - from a movie theater, I now have them on casters and wheel them into the back yard in the summer months.

Thanks guys

I need 4430 or 4435's to go with my 4425's.....
They are nice, aren't they? The constant directivity bi-radial horns in the 44xx are something else. You'll need to free up space for the 4435's, not to mention the 4430s which weigh 175lb each. Here's both of my pairs getting a cat scan a few years back.

Yeah.....my 4425's are not mirrored either but they sound great. I have a bunch of Solen caps to put in them here one day.....

I've totally lost the plot....
The bigger the JBL, the harder you have to run them.
I used to have to use my 4350's in a rehearsal studio to bring out the best in them.
Down low, you just don't realise their potential.
That's why I only bother with vintage 'small ones' now. At least you can enjoy 'that' sound at their full capacity, and still not upset too many of your neighbours.
I just can't use my 'BIG' JBL's here, and so they've been buried behind the pile of everything else.

Nice collection SLF. (you lucky dawg….) ;)

Here's one our Canadian Brother's are probably familiar with

The Lydia Taylor Band - Bitch on Passport Records. Band reminds me of Heart strongly w/ a hint of Pat Benatar

Cheetah - Rock & Roll Women Atlantic numbered promo. These chicks rock it pretty hard, like a female version of Great White. The guitar solos remind my of Great White but on the killer track Bang Bang (Shot Full of Love), the riffs are very AC/DC like. The couple ballads on here are good to, sort of Lita Ford/Lee Aaron like

Reckless - No Frills in shrink indie Valentino Records pressed by Atlantic Studios. Killer Hair/Glam Metal from 1987. Classic Les Paul w/ a Marshall JCM800 roar on this semi-HTF lp

Bang Bang definitely has the ACDC riffage going on.
