You might be an audiofile if you have to hide equipment from your wife in the garage. :reindeer:
And I thought I was the only person who did this. Plus you can hide stuff at your office, in your storage unit, and even in your car (if it's a small piece of gear).

So true. But I can't blame anyone . LOL It is me who pulls ICs loose. Then can't figure out why one channel is gone. I know you guys like like loose ICs. I hate them.

You shack up with an audio technician because he's the only man on the planet you trust near your Nakamichi 'Dragon'.
Now that is funny. LMBO

Larry
Funny maybe but in my case it's true although I confess he's got other assets apart from being one of Australia's best Nakamichi techs. Don't ask ! :? :sex:

Graham would have liked to know that. His Dragon got messed up in shipping to OZ.

I'd like to help but there's a reason I don't give out my mate's name or contact details on the web. I did once and he had a flood of people turn up at the audio/HT retailer-importer where he works full time wanting repairs. The problem was his employer didn't like these people turning up wanting repair work done when they weren't customers of their retail outlet. Fair enough.
He's given up doing repair work from home at my request as the tide of audiophools arriving expected me to entertain them with a listening session with my gear. Most of these people weren't interested in music - they'd expect me to play half a track then swap in a cable or whatever they'd bought with them . ARGH!!!!! . He's also so busy at his full time job the only repairs he does outside now are to the gear his band uses and on his and my own audio toys. Sorry Graham.
